Just saying Hi

Hi everyone. Short version, I go up for tenure next year and it looks very good. I've worked very hard for this at the price of an active personal life. A few weeks ago I also got/earned a promotion at work. I am very thankful for my job. I'm also thankful for the promotion but... It's a quick sharp learning curve right at the end of the semester. I'm already burnt and am taking on more duties at the same time.

I live about an hour north of Indy so I don't get to all of the Indy Blogger activities as much. I can't remember the last time I was at a pug meet up. I wanted to do the Mutt Strut but it didn't happen. I can't make Apollos birthday party which was kinda the last straw... and why I'm writing.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry I'm not as active lately. I really value this community and just wanted you to know that even if I don't always show it.

Take care everyone! :)

David, Penny, Elvis, Rosie,

For those of you who are on facebook you already know its been a very bleak week in the animal world.

We are so sorry to hear about Penny.

We are also sorry to hear about Elvis.

We were also sorry to hear about the poor lil gal Rosie that was a very short lived KPR foster pug.

Today our other furry friend David crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. David was my co workers guide dog who had retired this past August. He had a cardiac condition which came about in the past few months and caused seizures. David was very special to me for many reasons. I'll really miss him.

I don't have much else to say. I decided to take the pugs to the dog park today. I've actually taken them 3 weeks in row. We had a great time. So much loss I just wanted to enjoy my pugs in honor of all those who are now running free of pain and able to eat all of the treats and whipped cream they want!

Love, Stacy, Brutus, Miley, Bones, Lilly, George Henry, Sammy and IJ.

Happy Easter!

I'm happy to report that Bones had his 1 month vet checkup after his radiation iodine treatment. His T4 or thyroid hormone level is back to normal, he gained a little over half a pound, his heart murmur his gone and his heart rate is down. I am so excited!

We are sorry we missed the Indy Pug meetup but I just back from being out of town all week and am exhausted. We hope to see everyone in May and hope everyone had a great time! We have enjoyed seeing the posts and pictures on here and facebook!
