Cody and Miley

A couple of friends stopped by to help me with a leaning mailbox and they brought their son Cody. Needless to say Miley really enjoyed him. Miley loves to lick people so Cody kept calling her "Lickey."

Although Miley was surrendered because she would "bite" or nip children she didn't bite Cody at all and hasn't in over a year. It was wonderful to see her playing and running with Cody.

  1. Awwww... Those pics of Miley & Cody are very sweet. The person who surrendered her didn't deserve Miley!!

    Pugs & Kisses,

    Yoda & Brutus

  2. Sadly,it's often more about the people than the pug!

  3. OMG, we LOVE these pics!!!

    Sarah, Hank and Molly

  4. What khute pikhs!

    Such JOY is sooooo obvious!

  5. Sandy is completely right. I had a foster sister that was supposedly extremely aggressive, with people and other Pugs. The human Mom was a therapist and did all this behavioral therapy on her, as well as antipsychotic meds (yeah, they make some for dogs)! When we got Mei-Ling she was starved and very anxious. My Mommy took her off her meds (with our vet's approval) and put her on a good diet. We gave her lots of love, and the transformation was amazing. She's now in a forever home with a retired lady who can give her the world. And this lady says that Mei-Ling smiles for her every day all day/ I think the same thing is true for Miley. She had owners who didn't take the time to socialize her and probably put her in high anxiety situations with kids. And then you came along and gave her the type of love, attention, and care that she needed to blossom into a nice and loving Pug. You were meant to be a "foster failure" to be a forever Mom to Miley. :)
